Jacob graduated from the University of Tennessee, with a B.A. in English Literature and Writing and continued onto an M.A. in English at the University of Kent. He is an academic researcher, having participated in numerous conferences including the FUTURE/S English Literature Postgraduate Conference, the SKEPSI Fourth Annual Multi-Disciplinary Conference, and the SKEPSI Cradled In Caricature Postgraduate Symposium. To extend his knowledge in English to teaching, Jacob became certified through UK TEFL and he has taught English at Gyeonggi International School, in South Korea. His experience as an academic and as an instructor act in synergy to make him the ideal essay editor. As such, he has edited countless written pieces, varying from simple poetry to academic articles.


Paula is our multilingual editor, with a B.A. from the University of Illinois in East Asian Languages and a minor in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). She has travelled all around the United States and Asia teaching English to students of all age and level groups, specializing in grammar. Furthermore, before joining Edge Writings, she has worked as an editor for online publications, essays, articles. Her interest in cultural and language exchange has led to participation in numerous intercultural societies and associations – which has deepened her understanding of the difficulties one might face at the moment of writing in a language that is not their own.

Celina is a lawyer, author, talk show host and radio personality, well known for her award winning book, 'Live your dream'. She graduated from MIT and UC Berkeley School of Law. She has been invited to speak in many platforms, like TEDx about being bilingual and bicultural.

Chloe graduated from law school at Fordam University and has is an experienced writer and editor. Having worked for many years polishing East Asian students' essays, she is particularly adept at pointing out the common mistakes of non-native students.

Kristy has a BA from the University of Colorado in International Affairs and Linguistics. She is a dedicated educator with long experience in researching, writing, developing and editing.

James has graduated from UC Berkeley and Darmouth and specialized in editing Admissions essays for Ivy League universities for over ten years.

Steve is a graduate from Harvard University and Stanford Graduate School. As a multi-lingual, his extensive knowledge of language as led him to become a contest winning academic writer and to head Fortune 500 Companies.

Cynthia graduated as a journalist from Stanford University. She is our specialist in creative writing, with extensive experience as a movie scriptwright and playwright. In her spare time she has also worked teaching EFL, making her particularly competent in grammar, diction and structure.

Raymond is a Yale graduate who has been working in the field of English education for many years, and specializes in English writing. In the past years, he has been working mostly with college and graduate admissions essays.

Robin graduated from the Universitat St. Galleu and Texas A&M University. Working at Merrill Lynch, he is particularly experienced in the field of finance and business.

Joyce is a UC Berkeley graduate and has worked for over 15 years editing academic essays, including Ph.D dissertations and conference papers.
